Tokyo Commute

One of the things I don't miss about being a salary man - the daily sardine experience. Still need to use the trains and still experience it now and then though. There was one time on the Yamanote line where it was so packed that it actually hurt around the ribs due to the sheer pressure in the carriage.
Do you go through this on your local transportation too?
