For folks who cant draw (like me) and want to make their own anime characters for either their blog, avatar or other (health?) purposes.
The screenshot shows how easy it is - just fire up the application and play around with the pulldowns.
Available is a character set for you to play with too.

I have not played around with this but it seems there is a way for the source to run on a webserver too - keep refreshing this php script and you will see moe anime characters being generated on the fly.

The original game creator is here, and screenshot from here. More resources at Google and you can even make the Lucky Star girls with this tool.

Original text from Risedawn below.

There are times that you want to create an anime girl but because of your drawing skills you are unable to create one. Fear not as there is a program created juz for your needs. Use this to create a anime girl of your dreams or use it to create a Mascot for your blog. Enjoy!!!

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the 2D Girls category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

    couple questions?
    1. can someone post the kanji in the readme file for changing accessory colors...my reader is changing them to something else I think.. I can only get blue hair acceccories for instance.
    2. Am I correct that to change accessory color we go into the accessory folder and rename the file for the accessory adding (the proper kanji)?
    3. What program are you opening these in once complete? It saves it as a .CPD file. How would I upload my creations to a website/

Thanks and sorry for all the Questions.

i have been taking Screenshots after finished and pasting it into MS paint and then saving it, to do this simply press the "Print Screen SysRq button" located on your Keyboard open MS paint click File and hit paste, this will paste whatever you had on your screen the instant you pressed the screenshot button. this should work on almost any Paint program such as Photoshop or Gimp also.

Thanks buddy, I'll try to get it solved in Vista. I thought enabling Japanese MS IME stuff & input would help but it doesn't...

Someone should get an English/localized version going, I could help but time is scarce over here!

OK, just tested. Changing the global system locate to Japanese to non-UTF8 compliant programs is a bad idea. It might ruin software in other locales and prevent it from running correctly.

The codepage translation settings are safe, but encouraging people to change the locale for non-UTF8 programs.... eeek. Do it at your own risk :)
