Ikkitousen Girls title=

The Wonder Festival coverage started with a few teasers in the News Items a few hours ago and now continues with the Ikkitousen girls. Scroll to the end of the post to see how the coverage will be delivered.

A word of warning though - I've not had time to automate adding Mirai Marks to the photos and am a bit pushed for time - meaning that the photos in this article have no sign of Mirai whatsoever (apart from the top pic). If you are offended by bare naked eyes then please turn away.

The Wonfes 2008 coverage will all be in Wonfes 2008 Winter category and is being brought to you with Akihabara News.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

First up is this kit of Kanu by Disk Vision - have a look at the official gallery for better pics.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Disk Vision also makes EVE who we saw the other day but unfortunately she wasn't on display.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Its times like this when I wish I had the time and skills to make figures.

Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=

Kanu at the Griffon booth - didn't manage to get decent pics ToT.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Ryomo ready to cuff you.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Ryomo ready to slice you.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Figma Kanu at the Goodsmile booth. Want.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Choun Shiryu at the Alter booth.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Alter Kanu - simply must have.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Orchid Seed Kanu - see better pics and find out why her toe looks like that in this news item - the toe thing is in the comments ^^;

Ikkitousen Girls title=

All enemies will instantly loose any battle with Kanu.

Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=

Ryomo playing doggie still ready to cuff you.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Choun Shiryu's top has been sliced open for some reason.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

I slip and fall and accidentally take this shot. Another word for pantsu is "opanchu."

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Not seen much of Ikkitousen but I heard that Choun Shiryu is supposed to be blind? I see many figures of her with her eyes open...

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Poor Kanu always does her top in when fighting.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Kanu must spend a lot on buying new sailor fuku after a fight.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

And here are the rest of the pics of this Kanu kit that I posted as a teaser earlier on.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

This is a Yasumi-chan kit and you can see more decent pics at the official site.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

This kit costs 16,800 yen and is 1/6 scale. 21 pieces.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Lord. Lookie at zat bottom.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Can I teach you more useful Japanese words? Oh alright then. Please look away if you don't want to have this word stuck in your head and utter it by accident on a train.

The word is "Yoko Pai" [横パイ] and refers to the side of the "eye."

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Just like Summertime, I anticipate that this will come out as a painted figure - but probably be priced just like Summer time at around 17,640 yen.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Ryomo's Yoko Pai.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Ryomo ready to slice and dice you.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

More Yoko Pai.

Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=

I slip and fall again.

Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=
Ikkitousen Girls title=

Folks who can make and paint figures are geniuses.

Ikkitousen Girls title=

Click to enlarge - this is what the rest of the coverage will look like. Many updates in the news items too so keep em peeled.

The figures are amazing, whish they'd come out as prepaints, because I'm about as talented as an ape with a stick when it comes to painting ToT

Wow... i'm not info figures but these are goood... not offended at all!

Though i'm more into the oposite gender, these figures still gave me a shiver lol... scary!

And yes i agree a lot with you on the point that people who can make and paint those figure are awesome, it takes a lot of skill to get such a level of detail, it's just stunning.

I wonder if i can tear up my clothes like that without geting a single scratch... (i seriously watch to much anime, it could put me in danger hehe)

    ???Confused???

Well Danny from my understanding from the manga, Choun Shiryu is not blind, but she has this like serious "I'll kill you" look when she has 'em open to show she means business, so she keeps her eyes closed so she doesn't scare people...and probably to show off she she kick @$$ with her eyes closed...

lovin' the Alter Choun Shiryu and looking forward to their completely colored Kanu...so far the Orchid Seed Kanu is on the top of my list tickling my fancy...

I see amaizing figures there, but the only problem I see with Ikkitousen figures is that basically all are for three characters:Guan Yu(Kanu),Lu Meng(Ryomu)or Zhao Yun(Shiryuu). They hardly make figures for Sun ce(Sonsaku), and even more less for others characters like Zhang Fei(Chouhi)or Xiaohu Yuan(Kakouen)... Please, more variety!!

Hmm... I'll keep an eye out for the Alter Choun Shiryu, looks great. I have an interest in Japanese swords and her katana actually looks reasonably realistic, even down to the shiny silk tsukaito (handle wrapping). Any idea on when this might be available?

I already have the Alter Kanu Unchou on pre-order.... that figure is a serious must-have for anybody interested in Ikki Tousen characters.

I don't really like any of the Ikki Tousen girls for some reason. I own a lot of figures and not a single Ikki Tousen one. Seems like most other peoples collections have nothing but Ikki Tousen women.

If I ever HAD to own an Ikki Tousen figure I'd probably pick the black limited variant of that Alter Kanu.
