Wii and PS3 People

Bought a Wii as it was an interesting new concept and was relatively cheaper...[however now that the XBOX360 and PS3 have gone down in price, I probably would've gone for a PS3] Wii is still fun with friends nonetheless.

If you own both do they mix you into a overweight, geeky female?

I definitely have more games for my PS3 than my Wii. Bought the Wii when Super Smash Bros Brawl came out but I haven't really touched it in a loooooong while. Mostly because my mom found out about Wii Fit and then insisted that I leave the Wii at home so she could use it. I only have my PS3 with me at my apartment ^^" If I actually had access to my Wii I'd probably play more games on it but as of right now SSBB is sadly still the only game I have for it lol. :(

I'd like to join the Wii crowd more. That said, I'm not exactly a big fan of consoles... I grew up with a computer so thats where all my games have been. That said, its much easier to get female friends to join in games when you have a Wii.

Lol, I guess it was just easier to find cute girls buying Wii rather than buying a PS3. I only bought my Wii for Christmas but I have about 5 games for it, the most played one is Mario Kart x3

If I ever buy a TV, I'll definitely get a Wii. I'm more of a casual player than a hardcore gamer.

Somehow the nintendo systems attract lots of people who doesn't like games before. I think I've saw lot of girls with NDS but rarely see any girls with a PSP in my area.

Wii's only fun when you've got a bunch of friends/siblings over and play with them. Kinda boring/stupid when you're swinging like a maniac in front of the tele. Wonder what the neighbour would think if they saw you through the window.

I love my Wii, but, it saddens me that there are so few great games. Probably will be getting a PS3 or XBox 360 next summer though...

In my country, Wii games CAN BE pirated, while PS3 games are all original.. and the price comparison is like, 1 : 40.. lol

But i don't have a Wii, so i can't vote.. Ps3 FTW for me ^^;

My Wii games beat out my PS3 games by a margin of 1. Though it seems I'm playing the PS3 more often >.>

I own both (and also a 360 as well), and my Wii game collection is larger then both my ps3 and 360 collections combined (by a considerable margin). And I bought all three systems on their launch day.

Bought myself a PS3, bought my little sister a Wii, and that's how I feel about the systems and the respective demographics they cater to.

I have both...the only game its fun is mgs4 and no more heroes.

Had a Ps3 but sold it to a friend so now I'm stuck in last gen with my mountain of burnt ps2 games that I play. Might be getting a Jp 360 next week though. When I had the ps3 I had about 9 games for it.
Will be getting a wii for the 2 Monster Hunter games coming out for it though.

the Wii is nothing but a dust magnet shelf warmer... PS3 gets more play and the 360 gets more play than all of them.

I agree with the media. The PS3 is aimed towards the gaming otaku and the people in the PS3 pictures reflect the image of the stereotypical otaku. The Wii has broad appeal among the masses with its low price point and non-traditional games.

Is the media biased? Perhaps, but it is indisputable that the Wii has greater appeal among people outside of the traditional 16 - 27 year old male gaming demographic.

Don't own either, I am more a computer person. But if I'd buy one, then definitely PS3.

only my parents play the Wii, my tweenage siblings play the 360, I play PC. all is right with the world.

Let's just say, if the people above were holding gaming parties, i'd be attending the Wii party!

I have all consoles this gen, must say i get alot of enjoyment out of all of them. Am a little dissapointed with the Wii's current selection, but i'm a Nintendo boy through and through, so i know Nintendo will pull through. As for PS3, right now it's taking a bit of a back seat, but as soon as Killzone 2 and White Knight Story come out, that will be sure to change. And the Xbox 360 right now, is what i'm playing the most. The online experience is just in a league of its own.

I own neither, but I will definitely be getting a Wii one day if all those ladies will be playing with me :)

I have all three consoles but the Wii barely gets used. I don't think it's been on in over a year now come to think of it. I do all my gaming on PS3 and 360.

That said, I will be firing up the Wii this year for Mad World, and Sin and Punishment 2.

got a ps3 and a wii but the only game for the wii is ssb. Ps3 on the other hand I have a handful of games.

Love to play PS3. I also admire Wii which is invented a new type of computer game generation. Love both of them. Go go!

I only has a Wii. Won't even consider getting PS3 till FFXIII comes out.

I got a PS3 mostly for the Blu-ray player. Game playing was a nice bonus. Sadly though, I resemble the PS3 characterization above.

I would rather get a PS3 just because of the graphics, and probably more mature anime games going to be released for it in Japan. Right now I'm stuck with my RROD 360...

I have an Xbox360, I will buy a PS3 and I am not interested in Wii. There are a lot of things I don't like in Wii, but the worst is the lack of interesting games (I am an FPS addict, and an horror fan).

Makes me rethink about buying PS3...

I own both a Wii and Playstation 3 and I watched my PS3 library tripled my Wii library since owning both of them. I have 8 Wii games in contrast to 21 PS3 games and 2 Blu-ray movies. The only time I see my Wii in action is when I have parties (which are really rare) or when my sister is playing it. The PS3 is on for at least 4 hours a day and its an enjoyable console because of my taste for J-RPGs, action, and FPS games.

If I can have the woman in leopard print scarf in Wii people pic up top, over to my house to play with me, I'd buy a Wii in a hartbeat!!

Before the PS3 came out Sony could do no wrong. Now they can't get a break.

How's the Xbox 360 marketplace in Japan? Is the Playstation 3 going to get games using its full potential anytime soon? I have a 360 and it did the damn red-rings-of-death thing, needed repair... kind of looking at PS3 now, and I heard it's popular among our Japanese fellas.

Just looking forward to a good equipment for a regular gamer that doesn't die after one year and half from purchase date ;(

I don't have either of them. I'll stick to my PC for now.

But if I were to get one, I would go for the PS3. It has much better graphics and, most importantly, Disgaea 3.

i initially wanted to buy the ps3 but after some thought i really don´t what to choose the ps3 as got some killer graphics but the wii seems loads of fun ._.uhmm...which to choose?

i could see why females would be more attracted to the wii.... . they're more active and can physically participate in the games..

I own both...but the main reason I have more Wii games than PS3 ones is because my wife plays more games than I do...I hardly have the time...
