Shibuya title=

Photos from the YouTube Neta Battle event that took place at the end of last year.

Shibuya title=

Met up with a few ex colleagues at Microsoft who now work for Google.
When I worked for Microsoft I was surprised that there was a whole group dedicated to "beating Google." Wasn't sure if I should talk about it but it seems like this info was already on the internets.
If you could work for Microsoft or Google, which would you choose?

Shibuya title=

The event took place at Shibuya 109.

Shibuya title=

Koji who now leads marketing at Google does an opening speech.

Shibuya title=

Gamaru Choba performs pantomime.

Shibuya title=

Vending Machine Red attacks trooper.

Shibuya title=

Trooper strikes back by grabbing Vending Machine Red's goolies.

Shibuya title=

A few shots at a crossing.

Shibuya title=
Shibuya title=

Strong Machine 2 is the dancer in I My Me Mine and does a load of other commercials and wot not.
Here we demonstrate how clean our hands are.

Shibuya title=

Visiting the changing rooms for the artists. When the girls were changing I put my helmet on and told them my eyes were closed.

Shibuya title=

Dance master Nikk and MC Gow.

Shibuya title=

Video of the event in this previous article.

Shibuya title=
Shibuya title=
Shibuya title=

Ayumi Hotta is quite a cutie.

Shibuya title=

MC Gow looks a bit like Sandra Bullock.

Shibuya title=

Some of the Dance Nuts girls - their performance can be viewed here.
Can your nuts dance?

Shibuya title=

Then its off with Nikk to dance around Shibuya.

Shibuya title=

Outside Tower Records. Also bump into member AndyH while filming.

Shibuya title=
Shibuya title=

More dancing (prancing?) at Inokashira Dori in Shibuya.

Shibuya title=

Dancing in Center Gai.

Update - the video is ready below.

    @hendrik,

Google, as far as I know, mainly do web-based services, you know, the kind of Youtube, search engine yada yada..

However, as to how Google make money, I have very little knowledge.. The only way I can think of to monetize from web-based services is advertisement (or yeah maybe to charge money for using the services but that would make the services unpopular).

I would rather not work for Microsoft©® or Google™.
The '109' building is not that bad. I meet Gianni Simone at the Dubliners' in it back in 2005. After _cleaning-up_ on AVs at the Don Quijote in Shibuya back in December 2007, I went to it again. It's a nice place, even if it is a chain. (The Maple Leaf Tavern bit the dust! 3=(> )
I also visited the Hobgoblin Pub in Shibuya as well. That has an interesting view overlooking the alley by the Keio station.

    > If you could work for Microsoft or Google, which would you choose?

A hard question. I little time ago my answer would have been Google for sure, but now I am not so sure anymore. Firstly I got to listen and ask questions from my fellow countryman who worked at Microsoft and his main point was that if you are good and have a goal, then you can do interesting and fulfilling things at Microsoft. Secondly, I have heard that Google is getting bigger and bigger and the working environment is also getting more corporate...
