I only eat out when I don't have any packed lunch with me or I have not eaten breakfast before I go to school. That and sometimes I just have the urge to eat out. I try to eat out less now because I'm trying to save up for a new laptop, new figures or some other things I want to buy x_x

Being Vegan I cook for myself as here in Indiana there aren't many places that offer a Vegan item on their menu, let alone an entire meal set.

I hardly ever eat out, and if I do I drive an hour south to Indianapolis and get myself some WB Vegan pizza. Best pizza I've ever had.

I eat out quite a bit...usually hit the local super to see what they have pre-prepared, too... ^^

I don't eat out much. It's expensive and a hassle. It's easier to cook the food I love at home.

I really never eat out; only sometimes with b-days or special occasions. But then, we always like to eat out a bit 'classy' so doing it everyday would be too expensive.

I eat out about 2-4 days a week depending. Most of the time it's to a local sub shop next to my work. But either than that it's mostly eating at home.

Eating out is too expensive for me. I'll do it on holidays, or maybe once a month for no reason.

As a foreign student in Japan, I often cook at home than eating outside because it cost alot of money for one meal. orz

I don't always eat out it's just once in awhile in a week. Home cook food is way more better and healthier than outside food.

I am student and dont have the money to eat out every week. ^^ I am only 17 years old and thats why I live at home by my parents :D Furthermore can my mother cook very well ;)

There isn't really any places to eat out where I live (theres a crappy pizzeria but you have to drive 10km to get there and they're no good anyway) so it only happens when I'm out travelling somewhere. So I guess it's once a month or so.

I cook my own food ^^; and I only eat out when its a special occasion or if I hang out with my girl or buddies.

I eat out by myself when I'm in the mood which is about once or twice a week. I eat out with my gf or friends about once or twice a week as well. usually near the weekends. Wish there were more japanese style food places around here then I would tend to eat out a lot. ^^

Too lazy to cook and plus it doesn't taste as good as stuff from a restaurant.

Eating out is normal for me since I have neither the skill nor time to devote to actually cooking anything good to eat. I suppose I could save a lot more money by staying and maybe even buying a week's forth of pre-made meals, but I generally enjoy the food I get while I'm out than the cardboard meals that come out of the grocer's freezer.

I usually eat carry outs at home just so i can spare myself from tipping the restaurant ^^;.

Any more just a few take out places that make real food is the only safe food to eat here. The people started adding 'special extras' which were not on the list to fast food so I avoid the fast food places like the plague now in Texas.

Its very expensive for me to eat out so I'm trying to do it less. I'm very cheap though so even though I eat out like 5 times a week I only spend like 20 dollars. Its a lot considering I don't plan on getting a job until at least Fall 09.

Subway has this 5 dollar for a foot long sandwich deal so I usually share one with someone.

I like to eat out at McDonalds, really. The McChicken is cheap but it's really delicious. I'll get two of them and eat them both...
When I'm at college, though, I usually just eat the cafeteria food, the pizza is normally very good.

me and hubs eat out sometimes cos normally I usually cook every weekday (other than the evening I work at the shop) weekend sometimes we eat out also but there will be times we just have the left overs from weekday lol It's nice to eat out once in a while tho, don need to cook + clean up lol

You eat out less when you start lacking a disposable income.

I'm poor because I eat out so much. There's...tension in my house so I don't like to be here very often. That of course leads me to being out and about with friends and the such which usually ends up meaning getting food at some point in time. There's not much better then pancakes at iHop at 2 in the morning. ^.^

Since I'm living in the college dorms, I eat at the cafeteria. But they also give you money to eat at the school so I eat out there too.

I changed careers so with that less money to eat out. However, I noticed I'm less fat than I used to be, so it's not all bad. Non-home prepared food packs in the calories. That isn't saying that I don't miss eating out; I do.

I’m a student and I cook all my food since I’m not a fan of eating out mostly the taste but my friends eat out all the time and I occasionally pick at their food, but I don’t think that counts.

There's nowhere to eat out round here unless you like fish and chips!

I don't often eat outside unless necessary or whenever I go with friends after school(which I will probably buy the cheapest and good looking food ^^) or with family. I am a pretty cheap guy and don't like spending too much on food.

Mostly during the weekends I go lunching with my boyfriend and sometimes with my mother or friends.
Last weekend had lunch with my ex which was fun, and the next day went lunching and dining with an old friend in Amsterdam.
So I guess I do eat out quite alot.

There's 2 restaurants in São Paulo that I particularly like. One is a chinese named Ban Wa. It's very good and very cheap! The other is an italian cantina named Conchetta, but this one is expensive...

I'm a student and I have to spend a long time at school some days so I usually eat there. Its hard to wake up earlier to make lunch for the day. I'm going to try to make lunch more though to save money.

Food is so plentiful and great in Japan it's hard to keep from eating out often. When I'm by myself -like I am right now- I eat out at least twice a week. When my wife is here we often eat out on the weekends as well. Just like chun said don't need to bother cooking and then need to clean up afterwards.

Does buying fast food type count as eating out? I probably go to a sit down restaurant 2-3 times a month. As for the former...

Eating out is expensive here but when I go back to Asia eating out happens pretty much every day!

My parents have to go out at 5 am in the morning to start preparing our food store. As for me, i have to go out at 7.20 am to travel to school. If i have the time to prepare breakfast, i would rather sleep more. Usually, i don't eat lunch, will combine lunch and dinner. Then my school ends around 4, when i will have lunch+dinner with my friends.

Eating out is a big strain on the wallet, so I tend to shop and eat at home. If i'm out in the city, of course there comes a time when I have to find food though. ^__^

I am a student staying in hostel and I have to eat out because no time to cook everyday. If I went home for holiday then I seldom went out to eat because my mom cooks for the family.

I eat out around 8 times a week, during workday lunches and weekend outings.^^ food's cheaper in Manila as compared to Tokyo, but nothing beats eating in those little stalls that sell sushi :D

I wouldn't count eating in the mensa (Wikipedia: mensa, a term in Italian, German and Dutch for a university canteen or cafeteria) as "eating out" so I did vote "0". Man, as you start living alone you just realize how expensive these things are. :(

I used to eat out twice a day four days a week when I worked as a field technician for a DBS provider. When I worked out of market for two - four weeks I would eat out 3 times a day 7 days a week on the company dime so needless to say I ate very well. During the last 4 months of that career I was forced to eat out 3 times a day as I was working 20 hours a day on average, now the only time I eat out is with my family once a week or less.
