Rin Tosaka is the second of the Fraulein Revoltech figures to be released. Out next Feb and will retail for 2,300 yen.

The Revoltech ball joints have always looked good on the mechas and it looks like Kaiyodo have managed to do a decent job on their new Fraulein figures too. Out of the first batch, I will go for Rin - the Eva girls look good too but Rins skirt is too cute. Have a look at the previous photos I took of Rei a while back. Does Rei or Rin look better?

Those of you who are going to be around Akiba this Saturday may want to get along to the Tokyo Anime Center to wander around the Revoltech Expo thats going to be held there. The event is from 11AM - 7PM and admission is free.

Rei's joints look a little better because of her suit, but I think the Rin figure is more attractive overall.

For one I personally dont prefer ball jointed figurines. Although they can be easily reposed, they looked toyish to me. Still preferred figures that are sculpted. Just my 2 cents :D

I'll get 1 frauline revolvtech (probably rei) just so I can see the design differences and how much effect it has. Other than that, I don't think I'll collect very many. The elbow joints still don't look great and I can't see the knees, but the wrists and ankles do look a lot better.

I like Rin more, but that's probably because I prefer skirts. That, and I'm not very fond of body suits.

The ball joints don't look that bad, really. Still not something I'd get, but not bad.

    Tsundere power!

Too bad Rin wears a red cloth because the arm joints become more visible with that figure (compare that to Rei and Asuka). Nice figure overall (and it's not the skirt alone! I see that some of you are heavily biased by it. *laughs*).

If these are the first of the Fraulein series, What do they call Saber and Saber Alter that they released months back?

I chose Rin just because I think Eva is overrated. But I'll still get Rei and Asuka just because I'm quite a fan of Revoltech's non-mech figures.

why not Rin , this is for the simple fact that they are soo many Rei figures now and after the new NGA: redux comes out I'm sure they will be plenty more. Rin is nice even if the joints aren't perfect, it should nicely diversify your pvc collection. this Rei is the best jointed one I've seen thus far aside from the limited edition highly exorbitantly priced fall-apart version released a while ago.
