Review of this 1/8 scale figure of Kotobukiya Maryan up at Akiba Hobby. Retails for 6,090 yen and came out yesterday. Cute pantsu.

The spiral is pretty interesting, reminds me of a watering hose.
Cute figure but not really my type.

Face is super kawaii! The spiral does look weird, but I always appreciate an attempt at some more aesthetically pleasing ways to make a figure stand up properly.

Where ever she's from, it doesn't look very impressive. I would expect the tube thing to glow in the dark though. That would be cool.

I really love Magical girls.. though I don't have much money to spare on figures, since I focus on Gundams which are cheaper ^^. Maybe someday I'll buy her and make my figure collection slowly grow..
