could be a lot of reasons =P
vader is black~ so its prob hot as hell in that during the day. also vaders voice isnt something everyone cares to imitate(boba doesent exactly talk a lot so its easier to get away w/o talking =P). and, imo, boba/clone wars armor looks cooler.
