Yamato VMF

Ryomo snapped at the Hobby Complex last Sunday -tis more from Yamato in their attempt to get hold of more articulated figure market share with their VMF line. You can see their previous Motokooooooo at AkibaHobby.
Joints on the knees look overkill though. Not too sure about the stand either.

Stand looks extremely awkward...

The arms look awkward and fists look too small as well... I think I'll stick to Figmas for a while longer.

I don' t know maybe it is the picture but really looks awkward maybe with a better pic.

The stand looks like something that would come with a cheap gashapon figure and the knee joints look like knee pads. I wonder if she comes with different faces.

Ah, the legs look a bit too cylindrical, and the arm joints look a little awkward, albeit, robotic.
But the big question is this:
When do we get articulated Strike Witches figurines? I hunger for some delicious Perrine and Gertrude.

I agree with Strike Witches - SW Figmas, おねがいします

I don't like how the joints look.... but that's what I initially said about Figmas. Now I'm buying so many of them.
I'll wait for the retail version to come out before deciding.

the knee is like wearing a knee guard.... let's wait for the promotional images.
ダメ人間, ひきこもり
like gundam perfect grade knee joint.
I think revoltech's shoulder is more posable, but in all other aspect this one is more posable. I don't like the excessive joints though. prefer jointless still figurines =3

the upper end of the thigh just looks awkward ^^;
but i guess that's to account for the skirt...
???Confused???
Joints look awkward, but it's not too bad I suppose...

the figure would look more interesting without the joints.

Aside from those joints, my main concern is price. Is this going to be another CM corporation with insanely high priced figures or will prices be along the lines of Revoltech and Figma? The stand though, that's total failure, even worse than Revoltech

ok, I take that back. I saw the price for Motoko, and the joints are hideous for that price. Figma makes me happy, those make me cringe...

Yamato's VMF line looks interesting.
I'm looking forward on a comparison chart with this and with the other articulated figure series like figma and fraulien revoltech
These figures go for about $60 I believe =x

the joints looks like the g.i.joe ones

Yea they look like american action figures somehow, specially motoko. And waay too pricey, sure they are bigger then figmas but they don't look as good.
カタイ-ガクセイ
I like the over all design of it..
But the joints definitely need a little work.
And the proportion.
However, the Motoko figure scares the ever living daylights out of me. >_<;
I mean.. Wow. Just wow.

Same here. Though Mou-chan is great with any color, original blue, black or pink.

Arms look ugly, but the legs not so much since it's dark with the black. The photo makes it difficult to really tell though.

I suppose I'd have to see more angles and pics to judge... but her thights are completely disproportional on those pics.
Which is bad considering it's a skirt figure.
See how the leg is skinny near the v zone, then is suddenly gets all muscular/large...

Hmm, the Figma is better than this, cheaper too ^_^;
Otaku Security Guard
In the right pic her left arm looks like a Popeye arm, lol. And what's up with her right thigh in the left pic? Is that just the angle?

Ill stick to the Figma Ryomou thats on her way to me.

I think she looks so much better than the figma version. Her knees don't bother me that much, they look a lot like the knees on 1:6 Obitsu dolls. Her arms look a little fat to me though.
