Japanese Contests

this just showed in yesterday's evening news. i think the winner gets a year's supply of "PANTSU" :D

I wish they let men compete in it just for the utter hilarity that would ensue.

really i think the maid's bottom is much better than the winner of that contest.

While I do know how to recognize a nice bottom, I wouldn't know how to classify a perfect one. I mean, what the judges consider? Rouder, softer, equally distributed, ...?
Eyes would be easier to judge. But if I was a judge, I'm sorry for the japanese ladies, but I'd eventually elect a big blue european eye as the winner... [:P]
And I think most judges would also agree with me...

Official and more unofficial contests based on beauty and charm always have left me with the idea that there is some bias. The candidates are generally not the best ever (even in Miss World/Universe) and that many lambda females could beat them.

This aside, I just hope natural assets (no surgery) are one of the criteria and I would enjoy an "eyes" contest much more.

By the way, one must be quite psychologically strong to be a member of the jury.

Oh and if Japanese women are indeed genetically inclined to have smaller bottoms, does that contribute to their declining birth rates....due to infertile hips? XD

This contest was banned in Sweden due to it being sexually.. uhm.. don't know the right word, offensive maybe(teenagers took pictures of themselves and submitted their bottoms to the contest(you vote online at www dot sloggi dot com)).

I've refrain from voting because I have a hard time choosing between eyes & bottom. A very good bottom can beat eyes, and of course the other way around *rolleyes*

well, I'd say it's a good thing for the winner that that they only judge the butt. I don't think she'd manage to get as far when taking other, much higher, areas into account.

But a most beautiful "eyes" comp would be very difficult to judge. Not sure how they managed to do it for the butt either tbh...

that's a tough poll danny. i like both eyes and bottom. ^^

I was starting to think that japanese didn't care about bottoms.

I've seen a few Idol videos and they were just eyes, eyes, eyes, face, eyes, eyes, eyes, eyes, eyes, face, eyes, eyes, eyes, face and more eyes.

I like some variety.

Even if I like Japanese girls, we all know they can't compete against other countries when it comes to best bottom.

What Japan needs a contest of best maid (if there isn't one already).

WoLF-[x], I am not sure if I'm right, but consider the following:

- Gravure models, race queens, etc. are generally chosen at a young age, selection is awfully harsh and the rewards are enormous. Girls that know that they have physical assets (don't mind the rest!) are one step closer to glory.

This kind of contest on the other hand is generally lighthearted, on the open side (anyone can enter and they are not that picky) and well, the selection panel is a bit... irrational.

It's a bit like comparing the Sun and the Moon I guess.

- For the genetic aspect and fertility, I don't know, but Chinese people (I have Chinese origins, so I kinda can relate and I'm not mocking) sure don't have fertility problems, even if the body type is relatively similar (please correct me if I'm wrong on that). I believe it's much more about major social troubles (Women who don't want to have kids, a full generation which doesn't want to follow their elders' way of life, etc.).

I don't think I would bother with either because I'm inherently not attracted to Japanese girls. I'm more of a latina kind of guy, which is kind of odd considering my background.
