Akihabara

Had a meeting yesterday in Akihabara with Good Smile and eroge maker Circus who do the Da Capo series.
On the way back to the station, I spotted a bunch of maids, police and media folk. What on earth were they up to?

There are now over 80 maid related shops in Akihabara. Many of the maids have been stalked, touched and had up-skirt photos taken.
You also know that otaku hunting goes on in Akihabara too.

The gathering was to promote "safety/beat crime" in Akihabara - and there is no better way to attract media attention than having maids hand out fliers.

Might as well have a look at the other photos of Akiba that I took.
Lots of construction going on. This spot has been allocated to Mandarake (doujin, toy etc) and will be completed early next year.

Not a lot of people know as It has not been made public but Bic Camera will move in here - got the info from Akiba related sources ^^;

Akiba seems to change every week I go.

Construction everywhere. All the small guys are disappearing from Akiba.
