Haruhi is Human

Ah, the gorgeous Haruhi. Doesn't she look scrumptious in this pic? You can get it by checking out the Haruhi is watching you news item.
Many of us just love 2D girls - 32% of us it seems by looking at the poll results for this post. But what if humans looked like anime characters?

Something like this I guess. Why is it that you want to run a mile from the 2D/3D hybrid version but want to hug the 2D version? Maybe there are some human/neurology studies on the subject ^^;

    Gah D: Some artists like Tony Taka or that guy from Ryu's Form site tend to favour some realistic human anatomy regarding face structures.

    The animated versions are accentuating sexual features that most humans lust after. However, when they become the sole dominant feature in a real person it is quite scary as your 3d picture shows.

    If you put things like this to creep us out... I guess you won. @_@;

    You can blame Osamu Tezuka for introducing large eyes (the ones for vision... no innuendo this time!) in anime and manga.
    So yeah. I prefer anime with rather realistic characters in terms of design (realistic noses are not great though)... But words are missing to describe my thoughts... I hope you understand my logic here.

    I prefer 2D girls than 3D ones since the latter tend to scare me a bit... But nothing beats real girls in the end. ^-^;

    How could anyone have a formula to consider how we would look as hybrid anime people?!?
    This is just scary!
    Hypothetically,we could somehow have our eyelids stretched to make them look anime like and...no, that would just be going too far!
    i thought those Anigao Girls were creepy but...I cant think of anything else to say now except...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! creepy fish face people!

    Apparently manga artists had western influences like Disney's anthromorphic characters-- so anime characters have the added cuteness of big eyes like a puppy or big heads and small bodies like babies.

    I'm kind of suprised no one's tried to get plastic surgery to look like an anime character yet..

    3D by far, though in aesthetic and attitude and all that fun stuff, 2D is the best. But nothing really beats the real thing. Especially when I know some girls who downright LOOK like anime girls. Replete with the obscenely obtuse sexy bodies.

    My finance is part Japanese and part Italian. Because of this she looks practically identical to Yuna from FFX. Even though that's a video game with 3D girls, still I think people who are part Japanese can look like anime characters since anime characters look part western and part Japanese. Definitely not like that picture of Haruhi.
