Looks like my Christmas decorations are nearly done ^^;
Apart from the figma Christmas kits, I've done the lights in front of the house and all thats left is the tree inside the living room. Will try to do that today.

Does your household celebrate Christmas with decorations?

    Used to put them on for the store and such, but for the apartment/house is such a pain. They get all dirty so it's gross when you put them on or out; waste of electricity...

    Kudos for people who celebrate for religious reasons, but as for the rest is just a marketing move to make you spend a lot of money (and make you look like an ass in front of your kids if you don't deliver).

    I used to decorate around the house with my sister. The tree felt like a hassle after a few years. It was big (6.5ft) and we had to stretch out the branches every year since it gets squashed in the box. This year, I went and bought a $2 tree at Daiso and decorated that instead. It's small (less than 2ft) but hey, it's just about the holiday spirit. :P

    my family puts up a small tree since we usually go out anyway and spend time with more family but when i was really young i used to decorate and all that fun stuff last 5 years Christmas has been bland for me. small tree no presents. just money $100 from my mom $50 from my aunt and uncle, a hug from my sister, a card from my other uncle in prison, a Phone call from my cousin in Florida, $10 to $20 from the girls where i stay, after Family dinner i go home look at the small pre-decorated Christmas tree smile and go to sleep. sadly this year my sister moved far away i don't get my hug <.<

      I see Santa dropped by Danny's house early this year. You must have been such a good boy! Saber Figma only, or did she come with the game too?

      We usually put up our tannenbaum with accompanying decor early in November, and take it down late in January.

    My family used to put them up, but we now spend Christmas Eve/Day and Boxing Day with relatives and there's not much point with the house empty.

    The most I do now is change my wallpaper on my computer. :D

    When I was younger I remember my family used to put up a large Christmas tree but the past years almost everyone seems to have switched to smaller synthetic trees with integrated lights, easier to store, set up and can be used for many years on end.

    Here it's mostly just some lighting decorations, nothing excessive.

    Me and my family just put up our Christmas tree. We don't bother with the other decorations since we think it's waste of time; putting it up then putting it back down after the season. This year, we also didn't put Christmas lights on our tree. It saves us electricity and we're pretty safe from Christmas light-related fires. Those things happen a lot here x_x

    We don't do the outside, but we'll do the inside. Light fittings, door frames, picture frames, and other places are always done, and the table is given a Christmasey place setting, but the centrepiece is always the tree.

    This year sees a major revision in proceedings. A new colour scheme is being applied housewide, and the tree is in a new location. I'm about 45% through the build - I might throw some pics up on my blog when I'm done.

    At my parent's house, we put up 1 big tree (with all of the lights and ornaments), lights in the windows, lights outside, and some decorations around the house like candles and Christmas-y figurines. We have a smaller tree that we put up in the basement, since we spend most of our time down there (watching movies, family computer).

    At my apartment, I do almost the same thing, but with a much smaller tree. All of my ornaments look like candy or they are from Star Wars. All of the lights really make it feel like Christmas

    Nendo Mikuru is sooo cute! :D. My family is never in the holiday spirit and doesn't celebrate any holiday except Chinese New Year and Mid Autumn Festival so they kinda influenced me ^^;. I don't really care about christmas either (not in a bad way) nor do I feel the same way as most people when I hear "it's xmas!". Saying that, there's no decoration around my house except the gundams in my room xD.

    Puchi nendo Mikuru is really adorable...so is Tsukasa. It makes me want to try to make a nice figma display as well, even without the Santa attire.
