I like some games on both platforms...

The MS heads always say they are dedicated to the Japanese markets, then they do stuff like this. I have also heard that their TGS showing was laughable but in all fairness, Sonys was not the runaway success they need. Nintendo have their own event so it';s very hard to judge who had the best event...

And yes, the PS3 does get an insane number of firmware updates but they all do something. most improve the home entertainment part, but they also use it to improve the backward compatibility for us poor sods which have to make do with software emulation. I have no idea what the 360 Updates do 99% of the time

Despite the japanese not liking it, there are still plenty of great japanese games coming out soon - Katamari, Ace combat, Resident evil 5, DMC4, soul calibur 4 and lost odyssey as well as REZ, every extend, ikaruga and the tasty looking shooter omega 5 coming to xbox marketplace.

the mob just stands lol... diffuculty... not ahrd at all except the last mission i guess

I personally don't dislike xb360 but it's games library isn't very appealing for my taste. Most games I see on the 360 are FPS games and frankly I'm not such a huge fan of those. I think Ninja Gaiden and DoA are the only ones I liked. Which btw I'm hoping Team Ninja does a port of DOA on the ps3 :D Games on the ps3 on the otherhand are my type of games...rpgs and action adventure!!

My favorite racing game series remains Burnout. Then for something more classical, I would choose Ridge Racer too.

Ero card games... I'm sure they exist, or they have to be created. Would you start a business based on them? ^-^;

It's going to be the 360 for me. It has enough otaku games and a large library of it compared with Sony's expensive machine.

Both xbox360 and ps3 is good but i have to go with the 360 because all of the games. I still going to get a ps3 any way.

steaming pile of poo is right for the 360... all the problems they are having iwth the darn thing.. os crashes (on a windows box.. who'd think...) and even reports of the dvd drives mortally scratching the games .. and theres the red ring of death...:D

haven't heard of any problems with ps3.. hardware wise... and the multitude of os updates haven't been to big a problem.... now to install linux on my ps3 :D

only complaint is that they stoped selling the cheap 60gb unit here for the $600 buck 80 gb unit.. with ridge racer... makes up a bit... if you want the game..

meh, if they keep releasing games for the 360 we will all eventually buy one. Happened when we all switched from Nintendo to Sony. Then again, we might all be staying with the Wii and PS2 since both of them are domainating.

Buy all three consoles and live a happy life! - having said this I went to buy a 360 Elite and PS3 together the other day and ended up with just the Elite because all the PS3 games are stoaters at the moment. FFXIII, Little Big Planet and wipEout HD will ensure the PS3's fat arse gets a place on my console shelf.

360 is definatly a steaming pile of crap: I mean a 33% failure rate?. It also scratched my Gears disc, ARGH!. it has better games than the PS3 atm though :)

I used to work for Xbox technical suport here in the UK and I can safely say that I would've bought a 360 by now if it wasn't for the massive failure rate of the console. While it most definetely has the better selection of games over the PS3 currently, there are lots of great games coming out soon. If you're not a Sony fan, then get a Wii - at least it'll work!

I've got both a 360 and a Wii, and I find that the 360 gets more playtime. The Wii is fun, but most of the games are too shallow for me to really get into. Gameplay is great and all, but I like my deep, engrossing stories. Xbox 360's graphics really help to make the stories more convincing.

I've got 2 RRODs since I got my Xbox 360 at launch, both times the system was replaced entirely...it's not really a very good thing, but it's covered for 3 years, so it doesn't cost anything to replace it. If the Xbox 360 manages to fix the RROD problems by the time they switch to 65nm CPUs and GPUs I'll probably pick up an elite.

...and then there's the PS3 that doesn't really have any story driven games yet that aren't ports. Nothing against Sony--they don't suck or anything--it's just that they don't really have anything all that exceptional yet. Certainly no "system seller" titles.

All in all, this entire generation of game systems sucks. Buy a PS2; it's only $100 and has a much better RPG liineup than anything else out there.

Gran Turismo wasn't about spectacular backgrounds. It was more about physics and tuning.

360 or PS3? I'd go with the 360 for most of my games. The only games I would even want on the PS3 is Gran Turismo and to me, that's not worth it.

shou', that is one of the main reasons why I have decided to give an end to my long adventure of videogames. Ihad already hesitated before buying the Gamecube, but I have no regrets buying it.
I hopefully will get updated on games, but my interest will never be the same again (if it doesn't disappear with time).

Never cared about halo. I kind of stop buying game systems now since they always are going to be replaced with another one. So I just play games on my computer. If i need to buy better hardware for my computer i will. But if i would need to choose between the 2 systems i would go for PS3. I guess ill stick to my PS2 and computer.

Halo 1 was a letdown because it did not come out on PC first, Halo 2 was bleh and won't be playing Halo 3. However, I will be playing more of Heavenly Sword on my PS3. :)

Anyways the game line up this year looks superb. Can't wait for favorites like DMC, MGS, FF and Fallout which won't be out for at least a year, if not more. Only seven people at the Halo 3 trailer? If that were the US it would be mobbed.

I believe the XBOX360 is doing really well compared to the PS3. Of course the PS3 is still a fairly new system, but look at all the bad rep it's recieving. I use to hate the original XBOX, but when the 360 came out, the games were constantly convincing me to get a 360. The 360 has made a good name for itself here in the US, and I'm impressed. I want a PS3, it's just too expensive for me right now. When it comes out with a better library, I'll start to head in Sony's direction.

No pictures? Then what's the point of having separate days when the press and public can enter? And why would they be called the "press" without pictures/videos?

The only reason I would get a Xbox 360 is to play dead or alive.
