I actually don't own a Mac, the only Apple product I have is an iPod.

being brand loyal borders on foolishness. when the company knows that whatever shit they pull out will be bought up by loyalists then there is no fear of competition to make them put value in the goods they make. all mac loyalists are always on the loosing side imo. just my two cents.
anyway i've worked on a mac but honestly cant make out the fuss you mac fans make of it.

I never needed to be converted. I've never owned a PC in my life. Our first computer ever was a Mac, way back in 1994. And it's been Mac only for me ever since.

Kidding. In all truth, I prefer Mac over PC. And while I use a PC to get used to the format, I find that I love the Mac OS system more than Windows.

Then again... still have an iMac G4 in my bedroom. :3

This looks like one of my friend's design classes. Everyone has a Mac or wants to get one. x_x The only difference is that some people in that class don't have laptops at all.

Doesn't the full picture have one guy with a notebook and pencil? The point was that everyone had a laptop but one guy. Well either way I don't like using macs that much. The only really cool thing is the dock which you can download online.

Oh god, I remember seeing this as a punchline at the last Keynote (about the new macbooks which may I add are really cool, from experience)... I laughed so much.

Excellent stuff. I don't see why some people have such an unwieldy hate towards it. I loved it as soon as I tried the OS in an apple store. Almost got my parent fully convinced as well if it were not for the price, though telling them how high quality the hardware usually is, I think I am getting them to come around.

Ha, this photo was taken at the University I attended few yrs ago back in Missouri. After I graduated, they required all business students to purchase Macs for class.

If you look closely enough, you'll see in the middle section 4th row back, girl in blue shirt has an Acer laptop. Guess she didn't get the memo.

I will never own a PC running windows, I'm too tired of this crappy OS, I have too many problems with it at work and it is not user friendly unlike MacOS. Going back home I'm so happy with my Macbook :-)

If someone gave me a mac book I wouldn't say no. But I wouldn't buy one for myself. I'll never spend so much money on a computer when all I do is email, surfing the internet and resizing digital photos.

sure, since i have a mac, i cannot use a PC anymore

i can't recall the number of times i had to reformat my hd and reinstall xp...

probably at least 2-3 times per quarter, during the last 10 years

every time, backing up data, reinstalling, etc etc

almost 1 full day lost everytime

I think it was a bad idea for MAC to use Intel. If you don't know, the only reason MACs were doing so well was because of their patent processor on the old apple computers. Now that they switched to Intel, their processors have deteriorated while other companies can use the processors MAC's have gotten rid of.

Macs are ok for me. I'm a new user and I'm enjoying it alot. I use computers mostly for documents & the Internet, so either OS is ok for me. I have both PC & Mac at home so either way, I'm fine.

Apparently UWO is pretty dominated with Mac as well. Every time I turn around in psychology class I'm amazed by the number of apples flashing. I myself prefer PC but I hate Vista.

In all honesty, i have a love-hate relationship with the Mac. While I favor the OS for its functionality, I am less than enthused by the cost of the hardware required to run it, Apples' obsessive license exclusivity, and the occasionally uneven developer support.

Still, Im do consider the Mac the Porsche of the computing world, granting social status independent of actually operational functionality. Now, whether that status is positive or negative is a matter of open debate...

I have Windows for now, until i buy a new computer which im going to need for college. It will most likely be a Mac.

I love my PC, I love my laptop running on XP, but I hate the number of alerts I get from my Norton, and I hate having to format my comp (at least) once a year. It's a pain in the arse. Going to try a Mac next...if I don't like it...I'll just return it XDD Canadian return policy FTW!!!

haha...the munich international school also has macs for all of their students...at our school we use lenovo tablets....convenient to write on though!
