Otaku News
I have much otaku and Japan related news that I want to share but preparing a full blog post can take time. I wanted way to bring you updates within a few clicks so that I can focus on delivering the content rather than preparing the content.
The result is what you see in the left column on the top page - you will see my news and discoveries in the otaku and Japan related genre and a bit more internet and Mac related stuff too.
I have also prepared a feed for you to subscribe to. Its even DC Rewards compatible so you can register this feed on your website *and* have the potential of making money at the same time. DC Rewards users can just stick your tag on the end of the feed like http://www.dannychoo.com/rss_fauna/eng/?DCTag=danny and if you want to link to each item then you will find that the links in the feed contain your tag like http://www.dannychoo.com/fauna_detail_rewards/
eng/10/Doki+Doki+Majo+Shinpan/?DCTag=danny.
Folks who register any of my feeds on their site will have their feed show up in the Featured Feeds section and randomly across the site. Featured Feeds is a win x win for both of us ^^+
The code base is actually from the new version of Figure.fm. Its easy to upload new content as there is only one form and an image browse field. Depending on how fast I type, I can bring you updates within 61 seconds ^^;
The next step is to enable you to upload your own images. I'm also thinking of opening an idol or eroge image board with the codebase but not sure which one I should do first.
Updates will continue as normal in the middle column.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.
If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.

i eprsonally chosoe seomthing mroe anime than idol.. so like anime wallpaper, scans from magazines etc?
if u want idol picture u can easily find it as idol sites.
So ya eroge for me ^^ (but then again if u search hard enough its not diffucult to find those anime picture too but just required a long time to find(if u dun use wallpaper sites) and load.)

So much content to browse... I'm overwhelmed!
Well, I personally find that there is enough idol coverage on this site and that is not an urge to put news on them (maybe because I am not interested in them at all).

I wonder with some of the content on this site if you should have an 18 yrs old disclaimer before you enter certain sections to cover your own butt. I would hate for the site to get shut down or something because some kids are caught looking at eroge by their Parents. It would be a shame to loose all the other fantastic content about gundams, life in japan, and interesting insights into the otaku culture. Im with D-Blade on this one though, I think there is more than a fair amount of Idol coverage.
