What do you when you are bored waiting for a train or bus?
It seems what the Japanese (some of them) like to do is to pretend that thier mobile phone is a guitar as the lady below demonstrates.
Some Japanese mobiles come with an accelerometers just like the iPod Touch or iPhone and applications like Chokkan Band allow folks to make good use of their time waiting for a train.

if I know I'm going to be out n about and waiting for a train or bus or person, I make sure I have my iPod with me as I use the notepad to write blog posts.

I always have my mp3 player while waiting for and riding on the bus. I can't live without it. I get claustrophobic without music to distract me.

That's pretty good that the player can distract you from claustrophobia. I would be overhearing people's conversations all the time if I didn't have my player on me... Interesting stuff, but not to me XD

I have had my g1 for about 5 days now. It has not left my side once.
In fact as we speak I am loading up mp3's and OGG's on the new 8gb micro sdhc card I got for it.

I may not rock out on some air guitar with it though, but there is an app that makes "Mario sounds" when you jump or something. I should install it and have fun with it. It also makes the coin sound when you press a button.

For me either listening to iPod Shuffle or playing PSP, usually both, if the 2 gadgets are in fine condition... I'm just bad with electronics, especially small gadget... just last month, i broke my headphone and suddenly my iPod Shuffle failed to sync with my laptop... has to resort with the classic one for a while....

Sometimes, when i play PSP while waiting for a bus, i failed to notice that the bus i'm waiting for has arrived, and almost always, the moment i notice that the bus is here is when it just closed it's door and start to sail away....

I have heard none of the Guitar Hero games are available in Japan. I don't know about the DS though. Konami has a monopoly thing in Japan with their Guitar Freaks game.

Sorry Danny... But this topic went from fun to insulting. The fun was the topic itself, and the insulting was some of the replies... especially froggy's.

Anyway... I still have my iPod nano. 3rd gen, I believe. And whenever I have the right music on it, I tend to try to kill time imagining crossover scenes and how they might happen. Such as Haruhi Suzumiya/Doctor Who... and so on. So something like that looks fun, but I am more the physically silent type so something like that is not something I would do. XP
