Sakura Hime title=

Next up is the other female figurines. This is Sakura Hime. Was out as a kit many moons ago and now it gets the PVC treatment by Yamato. I hope the quality doesn't end up like their Mine Blue.
BTW, Tokyo Hunter has uploaded his coverage.

Nice figure but the mouth is kinda dark ^^;

Anime Manga Figures title=

Illustration by the person who does Megachu. I prefer Fauna.

Anime Manga Figures title=

Whats her name from Queens Blade.

Anime Manga Figures title=
Anime Manga Figures title=

Great figure to have for when you run out of tooth picks.

Anime Manga Figures title=

What on earth is she doing and why?

Anime Manga Figures title=

This is known as "Hadaka ni Apron" (裸にエプロン) which is a common term meaning to wear only an apron in your birthday suit.

Anime Manga Figures title=

Nanaka Shirakawa. Nice pair of eyes but would prefer they made her with arms too.

Got this on pre-order. Should be out any day now. Full cast off ^^;

Anime Manga Figures title=

A Bome kit - not sure what her name is.

Anime Manga Figures title=

As soon as I got back from the show, I canceled this pre-order. The paint work looked extremely suspect and her skin didn't look painted at all. Will wait for the reviews before I decide to buy.

Anime Manga Figures title=

Look at the stockings - looks dodgy to me. She looks a bit strange in this pose anyway as she is supposed to be holding onto a fence.

Anime Manga Figures title=

Doesnt look quite as cute as Natsumi in the anime.

Anime Manga Figures title=
Anime Manga Figures title=

"Name that figure."

Anime Manga Figures title=

Nadie from El Cazador. Did this anime get any better after the first few episodes?

Anime Manga Figures title=

I can see that this is going to be difficult to pre-order. Would love a Siesta figure though.

Anime Manga Figures title=

Leukothea。May need to get this.

I thought that I wanted to buy this but then I looked at the price and thought again - over 60,000 yen.

Anime Manga Figures title=

Some scantly clad girl from Air Gear. That anime any good?

Anime Manga Figures title=

PaperMoon Dolls looking as cute as ever.

Ah, the lovely ladies of anime.

My kingdom for a job that allows me to afford even a fraction of the figures you've posted thusfar. :(

And yeah, I think that figure is Ringo as well. I thought it might have been Simca as well based on the box you see part of in the picture. But the hair is not long enough for the figure.

As for the series itself, you can avoid it without really missing anything. It started off like something original and then jumped several sharks.

Some of those look really nice, but I can't wait for the day when more Shojo characters get figures. I'm talking about CLAMP characters, but also the amazing designs from Utena, or Rose of Versailles (which got some awful barbie-like dolls... most of which European made).

If the "name the figure" was in the Alter section, it might be a character from the eroge "Satsuriku no Jango". It just looks so western with the revolver and what not, and similar dynamic pose to the one coming out. But yeah, the Yamashita figures just keep piling up, I'm curious if they're all going to be made by Kotobukiya, as their prices are reasonable. And wow, thats the nicest Bome figure I've seen, though I dunno how good their paintwork is?

The BOME figure is Mai Shiranui (!) KOF Maximun Impact ver. Theres a photo of u and a cosplay gal dress in that Mai costume in one of the last year event

Might only get Excelica among the yet to be officially announced and put up for order figs.

The Kokona figure (like all shunya figs) looks ace, and i LOVE the figure on pic 10203 - the one with the girl jumping backwards and blatantly showing her arse/ pantsu. I think its from that eroge 'Django no slaughter' or something.

That Bome Mai Shiranui has got to be the best I've ever seen IMHO. I never liked the faces of all the other ones..

I thought as much based on the hair. Only thought Simca at first because of the box caught in the pic (Simca's obviously long pink treses). But the fig's hair design was definitely Ringo.

I could not place the outfit till you mentioned it. That should be the roller derby episode(s) if I'm not mistaken.

THat Ciel figure was once a resin kit. Think the body part of the tunic is removable because the resin kit has the exact same pose, hairstyle just that the body part of the tunic is missing.

WOw, no wonder lately i want to own one of the am=nime figure.

About Airgear, it is good series.
But Sadly the anime is not good as manga. SO if you interested in Airgear, read the manga.

Oh man i want Ringo figure from air gear!

You know, I just wanted to mention about these scantily clad womens. I lived in Japan for some time, and it was cold. Freezing cold, all the damn time. Japan is is not the French Riviera or Cancun. It's cold in Japan. Those figures are missing goose bumps and blue skin from being freezing cold, really people.
