Otaku Shops

Wormgear is in Japan and has been uploading pics of his trip so far. He recently comes across a shop that sells a load of nocturnal goodies.
Wanted to talk about what your nearest otaku shop does/doesn't sell.

When I was back in the UK, all I had was the Japan Center in Piccadilly which sold mags, books and snacks at something like 5 times the original price. Ah, there was also a book shop at St Paul's which also had VHS tapes of TV recordings. No such things as figures back then.

Then when I was in Seattle in 2004, there was a shop in the International District that sold Gunpla at extortionate prices. Didn't remember seeing any figures and they definitely didn't have any goodies like you see in this pic.
