SAFS Attack

Been under attack by SAFS of late.
Figma Doara, Figma ToLucky, Figma Miyuki (she got the big big eyes), Nendoroid Dengeki Daioh ver (incredibly cute) and another nendoroid Shana Enpatsu ver.

The worst thing about receiving goodies everyday is cleaning up the cardboard boxes that they arrive in ^^; Spend 15 mins-ish each day of late cutting up boxes and separating out the plastics and cardboard for recycle and then taping everything up. Then I need to vacuum the floor due to all the bits that fall off from the cardboard boxes. Boring but not complaining ^^;

What part of your job / daily routine bores you?

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

Cleaning my figures probably. Although I'm not really complaining since I want to keep mine in tip-top condition ^^

I can see why disposing of the packaging would be annoying. Is there any way you can ask them to consolidate shipments so they come less frequently but more per box? It'd be less packaging for you and a lower shipment cost per SAF for them.

Spending money on your passion is alright, but it is so much more awesome to get stuff for free. Getting them before everyone else is even better.

Well, I'm living alone right now, so the list is long.
    House choirs mostly.

At least, recycling here isn't so hard as it is in Japan.
There are only two types of trash: Recyclable, and non-recyclable. Don't need to sepparate into plastic, paper and metal just yet... though some places already have 4 trashcans to each.

Statistically though, I'm part of the small percentage of people who actually do recycles... sadly.

Also: Black haired Shana DO WANT!!!!

    Miyuki!!!!

If there's anything I don't like about school/hobby is putting them back in the box again. I don't have a desk in my room at the moment so they all have to be placed back in their boxes until I have some sort of display cabinet. Then again they are figmas so I might not mind putting them in their boxes...usually I put them back later on so they just hang out in their playset

'Twas a term Danny coined when he first got figures for free. That wasn't so long ago. ^^

Maybe one day I'll preorder stuff and forget bout them after ordering. Then I might know how it feels like to have SAFS attacks...

LOL. Hey Danny with so many new figures arriving ever week how do you plan to store all of them in your home. You can only go so far with boxed up figures in plastic bins and such. In fact will you call it quits with figure collecting within a year? LOL

Or maybe you can start selling/shipping out figures you don't need anymore. :)

the long commuting time in crowded trains is the worst part everyday. wish some company just develops something that can transport a human in a second or two from one place to another like the transporter in star trek.

For me, the most boring parts of the day are between 10:15 and 11:00, and from 13:00 to 14:45 (approximately). It doesn't matter what I'm doing, these are always the times things tend to go stagnant and you know lunchtime/hometime are still ages away! That's working in a office for you.

Most boring parts is when I get everything done, and have nothing to do. This is usually in the evening, but flunctuates depending on when I get up.

Pretty much all of my job bores me with what I currently do and did previously for my employer. My position is a no brainer one and as such is %99 physical so at the end of the day I am dead dog beat. Currently I'm working on a job search to try and get my family to Virginia Beach Virginia so that we can care for my father as his health is waning but the search has been less than positive.
