Megami Magazine title=

I don't usually buy Megami Magazine but figured I should start reading it especially when I need to do loads of research this year for Mirai-chans merchandise like figures, T-Shirts, Dakimakura etc. Well thats my excuse anyway ^^;

Megami Magazine title=

For those who dont know, Megami is full of 2D girls. If you have a fave 2D girl from a current anime, you can be sure to find her in megami as a poster spread - usually with her eyes all over the place. Kind of like Playboy for 2D characters I guess ^^;

This is Yoko from Guren Lagan which I have dropped for a while. The quality of some of the episodes have put me off. Some are really good but some have the distorted-faces syndrome.

Megami Magazine title=

Nanoha. The following snaps are of some of my fave 2D girls.

Megami Magazine title=

Nagasarete Airantou.

Megami Magazine title=

Seto no Hanayome. She was cute but I dropped this on the first EP. Just looked like another Nagasarete Airantou with the rescuing-of-drowning-boy-in-ocean-by-nice-girl.

Shana title=

Shana.

Xenoglossia title=

Xenoglossia.

School Days title=

School days. Still have not started this one yet. Its not just a fanservice flick is it?

Zero no Tsukaima title=

Zero no Tsukaima. Dere.

ゼロの使い魔~双月の騎士~ title=

Zero no Tsukaima. Tsun.

Megami Magazine title=

There is a god because s/he gives us Sky Girls pinup.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien title=

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

    Ah Megami... its a fine magazine, problem is, in the UK it is very expensive and hard to find. I've only ever managed to get one issue in the past, but it was worth the expense for all the moe posters I got, which now reside on my ceiling... heh

    About school days, its not just a fan service deal, its a dark view of young love, filled with lies and betrayal. I actually hate all 3 of the main characters in it! But its an entertaining watch, I recommend it (although it has had me yell at the screen a couple of times... heh).

    The magazine is tempting but I'd rather purchase official artbook's which have high quality print. School Days I think is based on a dating sim, I recommend you pick up gurren lagann. The recent episodes topped even the best of what darker than black has aired so far.

    Wow those are some nice posters ^^;. I know my friend would really want the nanoha one if he sees it. On the side note: I cant believe you dropped Gurren Lagann. How many episodes are you behind? The only episode with bad art probably has to be episode 4. Other than that, some minor distortion is inevitable. You should start watching again, since the recent episodes have been really kickass! GUUURREN LAGANN! Spin on!

    I was buying this magazine quite often before moving back to Michigan. I have a hard time finding it now. Yes, research research research, one can never do enough research! ^^

    I haven't watched Seto no Hanayome. Not sure if I would say School Days is just fanservice. I did find it completely boring though... ^^;

    Haven't missed an issue since last year March. =D It's well worth the price.

    Just some quick anime related comments:

    -School Days is m best anime of the season, the fanservice is everywhere, yes... but the story behind it is really interesting, 'd definitely give it a try.

    And in my opinion, Seto no Hanayome is 100X funnier than Airantou.

    Megami magazine is one of those Magazines where you come away satisfied. I bought last months issue with the B2 Lucky Star Poster. It's fantastic. You can buy Megami from hlj but it sells out the day its released so you have to be quick on the mark. That Xenoglossia poster looks brilliant *drools*

    I sometimes buy megami if i see it around. Its kinda like newtype, but more eye candy, which is fine for me being as i cant read kanji! Lotsa giveaways too.
    Love that Yoko poster - she has such a cute face!
    That sky girls poster is scary! That series seems to get more and more loli every time i see it!

Also hurr, I'm not gonna waste mah precious monies buying expensive fancy glossy papers to print something that I'll get bored of in 6 months time and eventually having to repeat the cycle once more, wasting limited resources meant to purchase Siege Tanks and Battlecruisers.

    I agree with reggie! You should try to pick up Seto no Hanayome again. I've watched Nagasarete Airantou as well, and I can tell you that they're not the same.

    That Kazumi from Shana seems to get bigger eyes every time I see her.

    I've already buy Megami Magazine, Megami Creators, and Megami Deluxe for 1 year. The latest issued i'd buy is Vol. 10 for Megami Creators and vol.93 for Megami Magazine and Vol.9 for Megami Deluxe.

    In Indonesia, i bought it at Kinokuniya. I guess there's also Kinokuniya in Malaysia.

    Wow, I knew Megami was nice, but I didn't think it was THIS nice. Sadly, this is yet another one of those things that you miss out on if you can't read Japanese >_>

    I've been wondering what Megami mag is all about. Now I know. And the way you describe it...must...have...those...mags.
