In Sweden we don't have Costco but have similar warehouses called Ö&B (groceries, tools, cookware etc.) and NetOnNet (similar to Ikea but only sells electronics).

I don't agree. Digital gives you much better picture (and sound) than analog...at least where I live. Digital also gives you the opportunity to receive and watch HD broadcasts (only just that is a great advantage).
The last analog transmitter was shut down in autumn 2007 in Sweden. The transition progressed region–by–region. It started on the island of Gotland on Tuesday, September 19, 2005, and was completed on Monday, October 29, 2007.
