Hmm.. I think they are worried that if they are labeled as an otaku, others may not accept them in the way they want them to. I'm studying japanese now and nobody in my class talks about anime openly until I brought up a topic on anime..etc.
I like their range of accessories best, which is why i visit there from time to time. However when it comes down to figures, I can find better deals at other places.
Totally agree, hate is ignorance. Detroit metal city is awesome, and my friends said it was just stupid. I watched it in their presence, and got them hooked. xD
I personally use a mixture of both western and Japanese emoticons, Japanese ones are definitely have a wider variety of expressiveness. But I only use a few of the simple ones since I cant seem to remember how to use the more detailed emoticons.
There are people that can text message an essay in just a minute, not to forget text messaging is also cheaper than voice calling. Its personal preference.
