While not as big as Akihabara in Tokyo, Denden Town is still a great place for shop for anime goodies in Osaka area. I remember going there frequently when I visited Osaka before :D
I'm missing Japan the most right now since today was the last day of Comic Market 80 T_T And this post came on same day and made me miss Japan even more!!! Nice post as always though ^^;
I always stayed at some random Korean inn at Shin Okubo area. They are pretty cheap, usually 2,500 yen per day but you have to share room with 2-3 other people. I guess this info is kind of useless for none-Koreans though ^^;
There was a obon festival in the local area but it can't be compared to the actual festival in Japan >_< Must work hard to go back in Japan really soon, yosha!
I really hope those cities affected by tsunami will recover soon, can't believe it's been 4 months already and can't really hear about the news of aftermath of tsunami anymore :/
