On my first Japan Trip i ended up using the Taxi... though i paid 30,000 Yen instead of 20,000 Yen... X.x
After that expierience i stuck with the train... siting 2-3h in a train so i could buy more goods in Akiba sort of was worth it for me. ;)

I second that in case of germany... lucky if you got a company car and the company pays the gasoline and allows private travel, which is sort of rare (the later).
Still, me being an person who tries not to waste company cash it still hurts to pay ~1...
Had the chance to test one a week ago, quality wise it isn't bad.

When i was still a chibi-Tami (about 5-7y old) i was always keen on geting a McD's burger when we were in the town.
