Well im english and still live in England, but i really wish i could live in Japan :( its sooo true all the things you said on this post, there has been many a time when i have waited nearly an hour for 2 different buses then 6 turn up at once......
I live just outside London, and we all know that whenever an American film/tv producer comes over they only EVER film Big Ben and the Houses of Parliment. Those are the 2 most impressive landmarks near me though

seconded :) i LOVE ubuntu, everything that windows does ubuntu does better, and best of all i dont need to pay £70 for a cd as linux is free (just how all the best things in life are :D )
hmmm, my favourite japanese film at the moment is Ping Pong (i see it on the BBC a while ago and loved it), but my favourite japanese anime film has got to be between Appleseed/Akira/Ghost in the Shell, i love them all :)
i cant stand halloween, i personally see it as being like begging door to door, but i can see why some people like it (free sweets/toys for little kids). Theres not as much of it celebrated in the UK, but they tend to have theme nights in theme parks...
well when i used to get the train to work i would read the newspaper and listen to some music, maybe occasionally play my PSP/DS. Now i drive to work i cant really do that, i think its illegal to read the paper while driving :) so i listen to the rad...
my local park just is not safe, one of the problems with living in the UK... my nearest park has somebody get stabbed in it at least once a week, and theres muggings going on all the time, hence me never going in there haha
i dont have that many 'nice' places near me, its mainly take away kebab/fish and chips/fried chicken, so i have to drive to get to a half decent restaurant, but most of the time its worth the drive :)
thats the way i try to think, but then i end up just going back to the games/anime when i shouldnt :( trying to study japanese at the moment, and find myself with a ps3 control in my hand... DAMMIT!! haha
