During my first holiday in Japan I got shingles (which is not nice) and so paid a visit to a hospital in Kyoto and I too had to step on one of those heighty wieghy things. Being 6'7" tall and weighing over 18 stone seemed to take the machine to whole...
I was at the London ExCel today for the Cedia Home Technology Event and to my surprise, and joy, Panasonic were showing Evangelion 1.11 on one of their plasma TVs!
I considered an iPhone but at the time my contract renewed they were still lacking in a few basic functions I wanted (which they now have!). I ended up with a SE Xperia which I love, the 800x480 screen is fantastic for wallpapers, of which I have mad...
I hear ya! I've got all the Newtype USAs taking up rude amounts of room. I wonder what they go for on ebay.... Leaning figures are a pain. I got back from the Glastonbury Festival to find my 1/4 Yuki about to jump off the shelf! Mounted her by her...
All these photos just remind me that I was in Japan in April, and now I'm not :( ...always appreciated though. I have a media center laptop hooked up to my home cinema system in the living room. I archive the shows my 'comrades' have recorded for me...
I love gaming, anime, manga, technology, Asian cinema, japanese pop culture, 91 people doing Hare Hare Yukai in the middle of the road, beer vending machines, free tissues, onigiri. All this, and more is why I (and lots of other people I'm sure) lo...
This April I'll be 35 (officially), but when I look at other people my age I always think they seem older. Either I'm immature or they're boring old farts.... I think they're farts :) Also, I'll be in Japan this year for my birthday! What's a good...
I get about 15 mbps download when connected to my Giganews account, yet I only get about 7 mbps on the Speedtest site! Hmmmm.. I pay £38 month which is a lot, but everything costs load in the uk. Apparently they're trialing 50mbps soon :)
They're not looking for weapons at all! They're probably too scared to buy grot mags so thought "otakus wax-the-dolphin a lot, they must always carry 'art pamplets' we'll just confiscate theirs!" That's what my old Maths teacher used to do anyway....
Impressive, most impressive. Don't have any vinyl myself, don't think I'd have room for it! On the subject of music, I'm going to Japan for 4 weeks in April and my wife and I would love to see Ai Otsuka who is touring at this time. Does anyone know...
I always buy CDs, or DVDA/SACD if possible. All the CDs are then ripped to WMA Lossless. I've not really looked at downloadable music as there doesn't seem to be much available in lossless formats, legal or otherwise.
Ha! I remember seeing this before. The second part is here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqoSHLOKNcE - look out for the girl on the blob at -1:40. Probably some people out there that like that as well..... nasty!
Buy all three consoles and live a happy life! - having said this I went to buy a 360 Elite and PS3 together the other day and ended up with just the Elite because all the PS3 games are stoaters at the moment. FFXIII, Little Big Planet and wipEout HD...

Japan is my favourite place in the world but like everywhere it does have it's down sides, high suicide rates seem to be one of them :( I'm lucky in that my job provides very little stress. I've never considered anything so drastic because fortunatel...
