Really works both ways for me, one is always going to spoil the other a little. But it doesn't really bug me either way, I usually read and manga and watch the anime in whatever order I discover them.

I think your future is a combination of what happens and what you make happen. You aren't in complete control, but you can influence events to make a different outcome, just hard to tell how different things will turn out in the end because of it.
