Looks absolutely amazing. Glad I haven't ordered either of the other BRS figures - I think this is the one for me. I love how dynamic it looks, even unpainted.
I'm yet to watch K-ON! so I've little interest in this Figma for the time being, but this looks MUCH better than the Mobip version. I feel for anyone who's already bought the Mobips.
It's funny that some people have been "waiting" to be able to say "twenty" rather than "two thousand and". Just as we'd say "nineteen-oh-nine", there's no reason we couldn't have been saying "twenty-oh-[number]" all these years.
It wasn't really a special New Year sale thing, but I did buy myself a PS3 the other day for a decent price. I have all three of the home consoles for this generation now. ^^;
I tuned in for a little bit while you were at Coco's - this livestreaming is definitely a great idea. Being in a very close timezone to Japan (we're just an hour behind here) should make it easy for me to check your streams out more regularly. ^^
I look forward to hearing more from you about the GF1 pancake lens. I got the zoom lens to start with (and love it) but I think I'll have to pick up the prime as well at some point.
I'm really looking forward to Bayonetta. It doesn't come out until January in most of the world. :( I've heard that the 360 version looks better and runs much smoother than the PS3 version, so I'll add that to the list of reasons I'm glad I have a 36...
In this case, it means none of those things. It's more expensive than a DSi, heavier by 100 grams and, as you say, has an unchanged screen resolution. This is a pure form factor adjustment, but a welcome one (for me, at least) nonetheless.
Those hot lemon drinks in Japan (there are plenty of brands but I can't remember any of them ^^;) are really nice. Very good for warming you up on a cold day.
