BTW, sorry to go off-topic, Danny, when can all us eager applicants of those Translation and Content Manager positions that you offered on this site a few weeks ago know when's the deadline and when is the earliest date that the lucky ones could be c...
A slight correction to Danny's statement here.
All telephone numbers in Japan since 1991 are 10-digits long when area code is included. So for Tokyo (Area Code 03) it's 8-digits, for Yokohama (045) it's 7-digits, etc.

Ah, if you only have announced this a month ago, for I've already gone ahead and bought my own HomuHomu Nendoroid. She's still standing adorably besides my PC as I type this. <3
Guys, you know what that wall of Nendoroid boxes reminds me of? It reminds me of one of those ancient cave grottoes with numerous small Buddhist (or was it Christian?) statuettes engraved on the walls I've seen somewhere from Discovery Channel / Nati...
OH. MY. GOD.
And I just decided it was the time to splash out on a HomuHomu Nendoroid today, but after seeing this collection of yours, I feel tremendously poor. lol
Experienced my first Hatsumoude this year. First went to the local small temple on Jan 1st, then went to the "local big temple" - Kawasaki Daishi for Jan 2nd.
While all these festivities are indeed fun to experience, it also means the entire country...
Wow, didn't expect you to actually respond, Danny. lol
Currently I'm lodging at Suginami. But I'm looking to move somewhere in Kawasaki along the Toyoko line. (I am still contemplating whether to live in Meguro, which is closer to my school, but the...
Just watched it today. Even though it's the first Monday after the release, the cinema's still packed with people.
An enjoyable movie. Having studied in UK before, seeing Kyo-Ani faithfully bring every part of London in animated form brings a sense...
Those of us from the Commonwealth English-speaking countries would probably be concerned about this guy's safety if he were do make this particular "Churchill V-sign" over there. lol
Judging from the scale of the bowl from this camera angle, I'd say the portion served for Laksas in Japan is much smaller than the usual average served elsewhere. Even Hong Kong restaurants have larger bowls than this.
Danny, why don't you just combine both A and B so everyone can be happy?
i.e. Still have Mirai with her serafuku on, with her buttons opening to reveal her cute bikini underneath rather than nothing.
I thought SUICA Cards are supposed to solve that problem for you and save you from having to use change for train tickets. This a different train company that's not accepting SUICA?
Please pardon my complete and utter ignorance in programming, but can someone please explain to me in elementary school English what the heck is Ruby on Rails? I tried wikipedia but apparently I was too dumb to understand all the jargon. lol
Anyway,...
Wow, even the Japan Guy follows Danny. :D
I once stumbled upon your blog when searching for all sorts of info in the aftermath of the 3/11 quake/tsunami, am pleased to know that you've managed to stick to the decision to remain in Japan even after a...
Was quite busy lately, so had to read this epic post intermittently over several days. Only just finished it.
Danny, you say you've earned less than what you normally earn annually for this past fiscal year, but I guess the most important thing is t...
"Tweet me at @dannychoo if you get lost."
Erm, Danny, I don't want to go all politics here, but unlike Hong Kong, I don't think people inside Shanghai could tweet you or even see you on Facebook unless they use "extraordinary means", if you know wha...
So... like... where's the rest of the band?
Yes, I know there's only Dollfie Mio and Dollfie Yui, at the very least, have Yui in for a cameo if customized Ritsu, Mugi and Azunyan aren't readily available.
Still, most impressive.
That's not Saber, that's Konata cosplaying AS Saber. ;)
And next to her is Kagamin cosplaying as Rin.
She's probably sobbing because Kagamin must've scolded her for one of her antics again. XD
