It's not really hate, but just a major disappointment. If anything, what 2nd season lacked was proper timing of its jokes. Kana was not as funny as she was in S1. The only thing that's awesome in S2 was Chiaki's ahoge.

Same here, but from the trailer, those gore effects looked ridiculously bad. That guy/monster with blades for arms and legs reminds me of that particular creature from The Suffering game though.
My anime choice is probably the same listed above, but as for videogames, Fatal Frame 2 and MGS3 pretty much does it.
I find the lack of mention of that cyborg(forgot his name, lulz) in Gundam 00 disturbing... -_- I mean, that was just sudden.
