On a second look, that bunk bed doesn't look all that comfortable and I don't see it holding a second person. I guess that's what love hotels are for? ~_~;
That's a really sweet bachelor's pad. Sure the glass case is special, but whats even more amazing is that he owns a 360... a relative rarity in Japan. =O
Never had a had a HDD die on me completely (although some have become suspect), I just put them in external cases and use them to back up files that I wouldn't be devastated if I lost'em - ie. fansubs and such. But if and when things come to pass, I...
This maybe odd, but these are the post that originally drew me to your site and they are what make me continue to come back. I'm not even half as hardcore as some of the otakus here, but I love your "slice of life" posts and the insights you share fo...
Just curious, but what makes 2D = lovely and 3D = revolting? For the record, while 2D is still not my cup of tea, I agree with most of you that 2D just seems less offensive... but why? Looking at the DVD cover that Danny posted made me throw up a lit...
Sorry, I don't carry around or have a man purse. ^_^; I kid... I don't have a bag I carry around (school bag or work bag doesn't count). I have everything I need in my car, which pretty much is with me at all times because you have to drive to get an...
I would have to agree with #5 simply for the fact that it came so highly recommended. Granted I have only seen a few episode (but losing motivation to move forward and trying really hard to like it), but so far my feeling is "meh".
Back up? What's that? ... j/k What exactly are you guys backing up that you need terabytes of storage space? I can understand if it involves your line of work (i.e. what Danny does). Hmmm? Suspicious. ^_^;
Haha, just like me but heading in the opposite direction. Living in California you'd figure there would be more interesting stuff to entice you to go out. Gets pretty boring often.
Sometimes I feel fortunate that I had the privilege of growing up in a time when the internet first became mainstream. However, at the same time I regret spending so much time on my PC during my younger days. I'm not old by any means, but I feel like...
There are stores scattered around California, but as far as I know there are no Otaku specific shopping malls. The problem with the stores are that you can usually find all you need online and often for considerably cheaper.
The best public bathroom I have had the (dis?)pleasure of using was in high end shopping mall in HK - I think the stalls were cleaned after each use by an attendant. Hate to have his job, but it was very nice. >_> Worst public bathroom experience I h...
Agreed. It's all about the user. I have the same WinXP installation from way back (2005) and it's running rock solid. I use my PC extensively for work, gaming, and downloading. More or less, I have it on 24/7 and it still runs like a champ.
Public transportation is rare here in So.California (although things are improving), so not many opportunities to pick up random magazines or reading material. However, I often see people place old electronics (CRT monitors, TVs, VCR/DVD players, etc...
I find Asian girls with color contacts to be slightly unsettling... not sure why. I won't say it's ugly, just odd. Natural beauty is so much more attractive.
Must be a Code Geass thing, because I don't get the joke. T_T Couldn't muster the motivation/interest to watch the series after the first episode. Ranka-chan and Macross:F on the other hand. <3
As far as gas goes, I'm lucky enough to work for a company that provides me an expense account for transportation. So on that front I'm good, but I am certainly feeling the strain in other areas... things actually wouldn't be so tight if it weren't f...
