One man company, visual UI / icon designer. http://blog.cocoia.com
I design icons for some of the biggest tech companies and some of the smallest mac companies in the world. I love making apps pretty. I love figures, mecha, and Japan.
縦のアップルディスプレーI prefer horizontal. Also, why take off the elegant foot? You can put Nendoroids and other figures there! ;)
Then, I also have the 30" model. 1600px of height is adequate for any website or application.
縦のアップルディスプレーColor fidelity vs. reaction time is a tradeoff. It has to do with the type of LCD panel. S/IPS panels have a slow (relatively) response time, but the colors are representative of what you'd see when you print. TN displays are very cheap, but have bad...
東京イーブニングVery nice to see such a motivational text from you again, Danny. And I must say I can relate to it.
When I was 13-14, I used to do a lot of designing on my computer. I was disappointed when I found out I couldn't achieve the design I had in my mind...
一週間の東京 42Holy, there's a lot of stuff on the backside of the iPhone 3GS in Japan. Here it's just the CE (Europe's FCC) logo, the FCC logo and a small serial number text. I see two really big logo-esque things under 'iPhone 3GS' and a bunch of text – what's al...
一週間の東京 41Nice to see a photo article again, Danny. To answer some of your open questions:
I think the 3GS in Japan is SIM-locked. I believe you can ask your carrier to unlock it for you for $$$ – if you don't feel like that, there's 'slightly risky' solution...
東京でお買い物Nice fridge contents! How's Tweetie working out for you on the 3GS? A well-deserved design award from Apple in my opinion, although I like the recently released Birdfeed app better.
日本とiPhoneerroneus: try using an iPhone to learn that it's not the brand, but the user interface that sells people on the iPhone. I had a Nokia N-series that did a lot more than my iPhone, but it's almost impossible to use. iPhone is a complete package that ev...
Firefox 3.5I noticed :) Very nice.
Curious as to why you don't use Safari. I prefer it by a wide margin, but I suppose you'd miss all your extensions. I barely use any – it's worth checking out the Safari Web Inspector. Best web developer / designer toolkit o...
Figure.fmリニュアル進歩状況Nice to give it a spin. I must admit that the header image being slightly wider than the navigation bar (i.e. out of the 'grid') that the header image defines drives me up the wall. Other than that, didn't encounter much by briefly clicking about :)
孫正義Danny, if you can spare a promo code or set me up with a provisioning profile and a beta of the iPhone app, I'll take a scrupulous look at the UI ;-)
iPhone 3GS 発売記念前夜祭Good luck with that: considering in the US the only GSM carriers are T-Mobile and AT&T. Apple is most likely not interested in making a CDMA / TDMA iPhone, although if Verizon gets off its ass and rolls out LTE in the next years (based off the curren...
iPhone 3GS 発売記念前夜祭Too bad I won't be able to make it, considering I'll be half the world's circumference away, but have a lot of fun. The iPhone 3GS is a great device.
I co-organized a party during WWDC in San Francisco as well, with several people from Apple and so...
iPhone 3GS 発売記念前夜祭Perhaps you should try using an iPhone for an extended period of time, if you haven't already, and compare it to other smartphones in the market.
D5000Very nice shots.
I am a religious Mac user and a Canon geek – rest assured Nikon or Canon tells nothing about your computer or OS preference. Perhaps it tells you if the user prefers Lightroom over Aperture, though ;)
I see Hector's using Coda by...
Tokyo CGM Night 5Here's to hoping we'll see the DCCOM iPhone app also having some proper icon and interface design. Going from Appliya's website... I am unsure -_-"
日本大学Hey Danny, it's worth upgrading to Keynote '09. I see you're running '08 on the Macbook Pro, and for one, the presenter display UI is much nicer. Recommended!
