With how we use our cars in Japan, you need a midsize SUV as your everyday vehicle. I want to get a X-Trail or maybe a Dualis for our next vehicle but... I would be careful using tea for grime. The acid from the tea might damage the clearcoat. Yes,...
I cought the retro games segment the other day when it popped up in a tweet. I thought you looked very comfortable in front of the camera. It looked good Danny. I wouldn't mind being in front of the camera. I do want to learn more about what goes...
For some reason I always get hungry after reading these types of post, really don't know why. :P The Dogwoods and other flowering trees here in SE Michigan have been outstanding this year. My wife sent some photos from around our neighborhood in Izu...
I know that feeling Danny, I need to be more aggressive as well. I keep telling myself that what I do with the time I have is what really counts. Yes, starting out earlier would have helped but that can't be changed now. I understand how you are feel...
As a young boy in the age before the Internet, I was fascinated with all the innovated technology that came from Japan. Nothing like it was being made in the US. No one in the US was bringing these innovative ideas into everyday life as the Japanes...
One year later and so much still so much to do. All but two the nations 54 reactors shut down with worries of power shortages this summer. Mountains of storm debris and no one wants to take it. Still many many people living in temporary housing. T...
I haven't had a chance to try one of these yet. It probably will tell me I don't need anything to drink. ^^; I was really surprised to see two of these machines in one of the local malls here in Michigan. Most likely they had too many breakdowns s...
I've not had a chance to meet her yet. Everyone who has always says that she is a really nice person. Hopefully when I get up to Tokyo for a convention again I will meet her.
Hmm...I thought Sapporo was import. Asahi brewed in Canada taste flat compared to what is brewed in Japan. It would be really nice if we could buy Yebisu here in North America.
Nice find on the ELECOM equipment. I see the AC plug comes not only in L-shape but straight as well. http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B001QCXQWU/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=computers&psc=1 Could place power supplies vertically in a power strip or UPS.
This is nice. Max Factory has given us some really great figures as of late. I think I will pass on this one. I have other things I want to spend my money on right now.
Happy New Year everyone! I have a good feeling that 2012 is going to bring great things for everyone working towards their goals. I'm looking forward to the journey that ahead.
This post makes me miss the part near our house. http://g.co/maps/cdxye Although we have no sports in our local part, it's a nice place to relax and enjoy nature. It must be a prerequisite for parks in Japan to have libraries and schools near them....
Prices are no different here in the Midwest. I have quit using travel agencies and started booking my own flights again. It cost me a little over 1100USD to flight from DTW to KIX at the end of May with Delta. I think it was around 1500USD with AN...
Danny, it the body made in Japan? How about glass? I have heard some negative reviews on the NEX regarding quality of built issues. Not sure if Sony corrected these or not. I know Sony has some nice equipment but I still don't trust them when it c...
I think any MBP would benefit from an SSD. I took a similar path to what Joseph did with his MBP and my old MBP 3,1 at 6GB performs quite well. Well not as fast at a MBAir but it is a great improvement.
