The temperature down in Australia has had weird weather as well... Huge temperature drops, heavy rain, hail etc.. Then few days later really hot temperatures. Well it's just the beginning of autumn but temps are almost winter-like.
love how on time the trains are in Japan... and even during delays at least they inform you of the delays rather than make you sit there wondering how long the train will come... Here in Sydney, they occasionally don't even mention delays up to 5 min...
Never snows here in sydney. I wish it would snow a little, but it sounds like snow is much more problematic... So I guess let it snow on the mountains is good enough for me.... Since we go skiing there occassionally.

Omg at the price compared with the original. Love the body, i would have picked this version over the original due to the price. Since I've already preordered the original and should arrive in a few days time I highly doubt I would buy this one.
Being able to view Tokyo in your shoes is great! Broadcaster is a great app, been playing around with it on my 3G iphone, and I have to say being able to record vids on the 3G is great!

People do sleep on the trains here frequently, but most would lean against the window, our trains are similar to the JR West trains, where people sit facing the front or back of the train rather than the sides (JR East).

couldn't agree more about it being impersonal and cold. we learned to draw that back in primary school learning Japanese hiragana. At least it worked, and helped people learn those characters.
