Hopefully gonna pick up mine down Gamers tomorrow along with Konata. Definitely that sword which sealed her place on my get list. Long, long sword... *drool*
I do read most of the articles, especially the anime and figure coverage. The articles featuring pics of japan in general are great too. Love the figure reviews too with dedicated photoshoots. The figma reviews were most amusing, what with the replac...
Great pics as always, Danny! And about Soul Eater, it's progressing quite nicely at the moment. Whilst it's not exactly ground-breaking, it's fast-paced and energetic and I really like the art style. The humour content isn't too bad either. Also noti...
Yay! Been waiting for this since it was announced. Didn't have enough money for the figma Haruhi that came with the PS2 Haruhi game but I'll hopefully be ready for this. Strangely enough I'm also looking forward to owning the game itself. Hare Hare Y...
Hey thanks for the great article! Was looking for decent hobby stores in HK for ages but could only find a few (Sino Centre rocks). This is perfect! Thanks much! HK is just great in general.
Yep, japanese music is great! In fact, my favourite band is, and always will be, the pillows. After hearing the tunes they did for FLCL, I checked out their incredible backcatalog. What I loved the most was the sheer variation of their style of music...
Wasabi is great. Especially with sushi/sashimi, then it's even better! I agree that it's somewhat grown on me though. But now I can't have sushi without the stuff!
I'm gonna go for a middle-way and say I like both. Which I do. Standard non-articulated figures are nice and pretty whilst articulated figures are fun to play with. Everyone's a winner, especially now that articulated figures are looking better and b...
Hmm... That C.C./Kallen figure is kinda questionable. Nice idea though. What I wanna know is which company's making that Nagi figure? The quality is pretty good, so its nice to know that similar quality HnG figures are gonna be made in the near futur...
Since I'm gonna be going with most of my otaku friends, I doubt I'm gonna have to buy any otaku stuff for the people back at home. Hell, after getting all the figures/games/photo books I want, I probably won't have any money left for anyone else anyw...
Doesn't really appeal to me, but it's interesting to see the ideas people come up with to appeal to the otaku market. What crazy ideas could follow? And yeah, I'd probably prefer a visit to a maid cafe.
I pretty much agree with the general consensus here... These pics are far too creepy. Creepier than anything I've seen here thus far. I mean, how could anyone spend so much time to create these monstrosities? Oh well. I suppose it takes all sorts...
I use my Wii to surf the web on Opera now and then... For gaming purposes it's mainly my NDS with games like Mario Kart or Jump Ultimate Stars (love that game).
Planning a trip there this summer, so these Akiba pics are great! Looks like my limited funds are going to be hit pretty badly... And methinks I'll be mainly investing in figures and video games. Maybe the odd DVD here and there.
