Unless you live out in the inaka, I don't see the point of owning a car if you live in a major city area in Japan. Not to mention the cost of license and the annual sha-ken. >.>
Don't know. Nice covers don't necessary mean the content will all be so great. Maybe I'd pick up #18 since a friend's imouto has an h-manga serialized in there. ._.,
That one picture appears to be from Meguro station. I don't go there often...so it is a wild guess...well not so wild since the sign under the tracks says Meguro *something*something* to the right. Saying things like what you mentioned reminds me of...
For the 4th year running, I will be attending summer Comiket. I am hoping for some nice RPG-related doujinshi, but chances are it will be mostly of the popular series. I really do wish the bigger circles would do some stuff on the games by Falcom. T_...
When I lived in Okayama...the realization that I wouldn't find deodorant here didn't occur to me till I ran out. I am thankful I had time to return to the States for the winter holidays to stock up. But it could be worse...smelly salarymen on a train...
Every time I return from Japan I get horrible jetlag. Not sure why. On the way there I am fine though. Flying in business class 70% of the time with the 180 degree lie-flat seats does help though. ;) That's a nice hotel room you have in Germany. Comp...

In my experience living in Japan...almost no one ever observes the traffic signs for cyclists. ...if nothing else, perhaps the police were bored. I don't see many cyclists in general in Akiba on Sundays though.
Eesh. That place is too crowded. For a good place to eat without as many people, I like Ikebukuro's Sunshine City building. It's older (which might explain lack of people compared to Akasaka Sacas) but a good choice of restaurants. And it is convenie...
It would be nice if more eroge are translated in English, but unfortunately with the exception of J-List and a handful of titles that Mediablasters/Kitty Media puts out...that's not going to happen any time soon. For the popular titles that everyone...
Lovely stuff, Danny. As someone who was a part of the foundation of the present company I work at, there is something to be said about the enjoyment of running a start-up. Now if only I had more time to work on our neglected website... ^^;
Wasabi is tasty stuff. I remember when McDonald's in Japan had a promotional fish nuggets item that came with Wasabi cream dipping sauce. Surprising good! How often do you visit Akihabara in that Stormtrooper suit of yours, Danny? Of the many, many t...
