It wouldn't be so obviously silly if they didn't add the lace on the straps. Plus, I'm pretty sure many dudes with man-eyes would not want to wear one, especially since it is so easy to see the straps through any shirt.
I think out of all of them, I like to dress as #4, it suits me better. Although, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't look good in any of these without the proper hairstyle.

Ho hum... I never received one either. The most I ever heard was that a couple girls asked the person who had the locker next to mine what my name was. I didn't find out who they were. They probably weren't interested in me anyway.
