The only time I ever see people standing outside waiting for something is when a new video game console launches. For restaurants people will either take one look and see if it is full and leave or they will call ahead and make a reservation.
I think a few states like Texas still perform capital punishment and I don't think it is a good idea. 1. They don't kill them right away, the prisoners are kept for a long time before being killed so the tax money to keep them alive is still being us...
Unfortunately, I saw the new transformers movie recently when I rented it on xbox live, and it was really boring. I could barely pay attention. So your not missing much.
I find American shows to be pretty boring. They are always about every one being angsty and fighting with every one else. And the girls aren't very moe.
I would pick Tokyo out of those, I really want to move to Japan and have heard great things about Tokyo, but I haven't heard much of anything about Osaka. I would also consider Kyoto, how does that place compare to Tokyo and Osaka?
