the state of racism here is not that prevalent. Foreigners are welcomed with open arms, very much so that the Filipinos would almost prefer to be form somewhere else, than Filipino.

i like both. with manga you get a deeper story and better characterization, but when you get to the anime adaptation, it retains much of its character yet even with out some parts in the anime version it can still be very enjoyable as the original.
