It would seem so. Every time my niece gets some from the fair, (seriously around 7-9 fish) they would all belly up within 2 weeks. I dont think the goldfish here are meant to last very long. We even put them in a fish bowl and fed them fish food.

The knife laws over here are pretty lenient. The only things that are illegal are gravity (butterfly) knives and belt knives. I carry one with me all day to work. Although when on campus, every type of blade is illegal.
