I walked into the women's bathroom in a train station once. The bathroom door was already open so I never saw the sign on the door. I think some women saw me, I felt REALLY embarrassed and worried that someone could have taken it the wrong way.
I think his sentence is fine as long as the girl is taken from his custody forever, or at least for a long time. Even then, by the time he gets out, the girl will be 23. Hopefully, she'll be self sufficient by then.
