Wonderful news! Back when I visited the Gundam in Odaiba and Shizuoka it was definitely the highlight of my years in Japan. Although I won't be able to see it this time, I hope it will be around for many years to come. (:

If I stay in the Navy, my next chance to get stationed in Japan is in 2014. ^^;

Wonderful photos Danny. Osaka was a fun place and Namba was certainly my most visited location. (: There's so much good food there that I ate way too much in one sitting though. ^^;

Not so much now-a-days. I'm shore based now in Hawaii but there's always a possibility that I might be deployed for a year in the Middle East, Africa, or elsewhere on an IA (Individual Augmentee). Hopefully not though, I like it here. ^^;

It has to be Mount Fuji. There was times when I forgot I was in Japan (when on US military bases), but when you look over the hills and see that enormous snow-capped mountain, you quickly remember where you are.
