If you're looking for an eReader, the nook is a nice one.
If I ever get an iPad, I'd probably use it most for reading stuff, random browsing and running a VNC application.

"-ish" means "about / around there". Used to express uncertainty.
"That table is red-ish." == "I think the colour of that table looks kind of red."
"About 2000yen-ish" == "Very roughly, about 2000yen."
