I've read a few things about this camera and for a compact DSLR it seems rather good and it looks rather smart too! The main prob with this camera is it is quite expensive, even here in UK, feature wise ev.thing i've read seems to say there's cheaper...
i can see the situations when you'd use a monitor in portrait mode i.e. document reading/creation, full page websites etc but for general, day-to-day stuff i'll stick to the usual landscape format.

how is it other countries have the ability to offer amazing deals whilst here in the UK it's all a rip off! Although technology wise no where else other than in Japan can these deals exist.
I don't know much about the cost of shooting videos etc but all I know is that was cool, really nice locations and FX were pretty neat...nice 3D compositing.
