After watching some videos I still don't get how this game works. Is it like DDR or you make your own dancing routines? And why is it on the 360 since the install base in Japan is really low.

On US boxes you'll see hot 3D rendered girls, the 2D loli is just aiming at the Japanese audience. So it's nothing special about the box art since they obviously prefer 2D over 3D.
