Speaking as someone who has an actual, female-type woman as a wife, I find the notion of someone wanting to marry a 1/6 doll (or any inanimate object for that matter) very sad. And quite creepy. Besides, she obviously can't cook.
My wife is very supportive of my hobbies, as are my two 20 something sons. I don't consider myself an otaku, rather an anime enthusiast as I don't game or read a lot of manga. I do collect figures tho, 62 at the last count. And I find hentai boring.

I agree, that's a really nasty seam. I'm a model builder too, but I'd hate to try to fix that seam. Soft plastic is touchy and how on earth would you match the paint? For $130 I'd think the figure would be cleaner.

I thought this one stunck out loud. The "hero" is such a loser I quit watching halfway when he didn't die. This kind of loser never seems to die. The girls were ok. Animation and artwork so-so.
