I'd offer the possibility to download HD titles (with english sub titles) for money as they did with Xam'd: Lost Memories on the PSN.
Concerning DVDs and BDs I'd add something like mini-posters or short manga for additional value.
If it's shounen manga I'd (try to) read the japanese version.
The quality of translations varies and is usually okay, however some expressions sound a bit odd when they are translated ^^

I'd like to remark that 痛 means pain(ful). So it's painful (embarassing) to have or being seen with something like that. I think it doesn't necessarily mean things with moe images.
Charging with USB is certainly an issue. It seems as the iPad requires a certain amount of power which regular usb ports don't provide.
