I don't think I'd pay for a tour package - it's cheaper from the UK to arrange your own flights/accomodation through stuff like expedia than to pay for some huge tour. However, I think a tour that's bookable for time while you're in Japan is better...

it actually ends up being about more than just racing... there's far more to it than that, and it's really worth trying to track it down ^_^
